Well I shall try Anette. I have a phobia of birds and I always hope Blodyn will scare them away from my garden. I even put things like bird scaring ribbons to frighten them away, but I shall try.
I would never harm them but I would rather they didn't come in to my garden. I preffer creepy crawleys
Having said that I am getting better at coping with small ones as long as they don't come too near.

Yes Ams , we are ready , Does my lovely white fan tail Dove that has made a home with us count , I don,t suppose it does it,s so tame ?

Hywel, I don't know what to advise about overcoming a phobia, I am lucky I am without one. The good thing is this task can be made from the comfort of your house, thank you for trying anyway.

Amy, Fan Tail Dove is a must, the RSPB will think you live in a mansion ;-)

All ready, i've booked front row of my house to do it.

I'll do this too :o) I might be lucky and see something other than sparrows and starlings (hopefully the goldfinch will pay a visit!) :)

It's a good idea to download the counting sheet from the RSPB site - a big help!
