Three acers

The acers here in Bracknell are colouring up well. Here are three pictures taken this afternoon.
Acer palmatum var disectum atropurpureum. This is an old variety that has now been superseded by better ones, but it still puts on a good show
Acer palmatum var dissectum ‘Felice’. Although the leaves of this variety are green, they are small with compact lobes, and are flushed with bronze when they first emerge in the spring
I have no idea what variety this is. It was in my neighbour’s garden when I moved here over thirty years ago, and it was quite a large specimen even then. It colours up well every year
