Some of you have already met Bruno and Barney
Then there’s the frog who looks after the pond
The pots on the patio are the responsibility of Schlecter. I bought him from a street trader in South Africa and he is named after pelargonium schlecteri, a species pelargonium I saw in the Drakensberg Mountains that does not appear to be in cultivation.
I grow a few vegetables and herbs and these two characters keep an eye on them. Meet Grimace and Wallet (if you spoonerise the names, you’ll see the inspiration for them).
The latest addition to the staff is Helen. She doesn’t really have a job yet but she is near an apple tree so I think she can take charge of the fruit. She is named after a cousin who went to Easter Island on her honeymoon.
Has anyone else got such a varied garden staff?

No clues on the frog's name. That would be like telling you what numbers are going to win the lottery tomorrow. All will be revealed on 9th April if no-one has guessed by then

Yes, I'll post a new blog when someone guesses correctly OR with the name at the end of the two weeks if no-one has guessed it. Just as well GOY is on a bigger server as there are over 60 names suggested so far.

Any clues about the name of the frog yet and where you got the inspiration for him?
