BARA BRITH RECIPE.....

Here as promised…..
I use mixed dried fruit, or luxury dried fruit, but omit the glace cherries, it is very much like an old fashioned malt loaf, quite moist, in this one I used Red Bush tea, but any tea can be used………..keep for at least a week in a tin, lovely buttered but not necessary.

Looks a bit like our Lincolnshire Plum bread, added to my favourites too will have a go at that in the winter months no time for baking when the garden is calling, although after saying that the garden is not dry enough to get on so maybe just maybe later on today. lol.

Paul you can always substitute the sultanas? Pamg I have made lots of these kind of loaves over the years, some better than others, our children loved the old fashioned malt loaf.... GM hope you have time to make one.....
