So if like me you are glued to the box this week, you will know we are being asked to vote on our favourite garden, so I thought we could do the same on here…….
My favourite has to be Chris Beardshaw’s, and why? because of the beautiful planting…….now who would you vote for and why!!

Pmg I loved the Aussie garden also, it was a difficult decision to chose this time, because there were several gardens I liked.....
San we never miss it is our highlight of the year lol
Motty and Lijemc so it is three to Chris then?

Chris Beardshaw's garden is also my favourite, but I love the tiny Artisan Gardens too.

Did you see Vicki from plantagogo last night and all those lovely heuchera.....

I beg to abstain, the gardens this year are beautiful so the choice is just too difficult. No wonder so many Gold Awards have been presented this year.

Pamg I did see Vicky, such a lovely happy lady isn't she? she got a gold,. also our local Heuchera suppliers had a gold.
Jent the list of plants used by M & G was amazing.....Wildrose the small gardens were lovely, in fact I enjoyed it all really.

I have to agree, I would have voted for Chris, and was thrilled to see he had won. The statuary in his garden was also incredible. It's a funny thing, but I am never very keen on the Australian gardens....I don't like the atmosphere in them...I think it is because of our weather. I'm sure I would enjoy them in their proper context! I loved the home base garden too, with the big outdoor seating area, and the garden with the curvy pond running through it.

Just found this, and in fact I DID vote for Chris Beardshaw's garden! I liked the planting in the Wasteland garden too, and loved the Japanese garden which won a gold medal in the 'Artisan' section.

Do any of you belong to the 'shoot' gardening website? They actually put up the Planting Lists of the medal-winning gardens: useful!

I think you can get the planting lists from the Chelsea website Sheila...I'm sure you could a couple of years ago anyway.

Sheila that is where I got the plants lists from, I like Shoot.
Thanks all for taking the time to let me know your thoughts on the winners and losers!!
