Hi everyone, I just joined GOY I am living in South Wales and have a small front garden but quite a large garden at the back of my home. I love my garden and have lots of shrubs and flowers including two pear trees and two young apple trees, We did have a large pond with lots of fish at one time but it was getting very hard to keep it clean so we decided to fill it in. I am far from being an expert and it is a matter sometimes filling in the gaps with plants that I hope will look right in the end, and usually they do.

Welcome from me too. You sound like the rest of us. It's surprising how the experiments often work out. Most plants seem to try to grow unless there is a lot working against them.
