Hello everyone,

I have recently joined your website and I was very impressed with the response. I only joined on Thursday 4th Sept and two people on the Friday, that is what I call service. I had e-mailed some gardening magazines and the News of the World, but none of them replied.

I am a keen cook and lovely trying out new ideas so if anyone has any cooking questions, then I shall be pleased to assist. As to gardening I am afraid it is my husband who is better than myself, with me it is just sheer luck if I plant it and grows, then great. For the first time this year from seed I grew basil which i was impressed and my husband dried some sees from some red romano peppers I got off the market and he then planted them and we had so many plants we had to give them away to my colleagues at work, they are so amazed that they are getting so many peppers come up. Also we grow runner beans which are greater as when yuo have an abundance of them they can be frozen and used throughtout the winter months.
