That's a lovely garden beautifully laid out and so tidy made for relaxing in.
I say that because at this time of the year I could sweep paths every day and they would still be covered in petals, still cannot have it all ways.

Your garden looks lovely Pansy and I always enjoy my wanders around with you via your camera, though I have to admit each time you share my wishlist grows yet again, lol...I've just threatened my weeping willow, Brian sweeps petals, I'm forever picking up twigs off my bottom lawn.....

To think that only yesterday afternoon, the four of us were sitting around your patio table ,in the hot sunshine, having tea and cake,..three of us anyway..Harry with coffee..always one, isn't there? Lol.It really was a pleasure to walk around your garden with you Carole..and your planting and colour is a credit to all your hard work...even watching one of your feathered friends waiting for you to put his/her food dish out,and the Squirrel on the bird feeder..all part and parcel of your lovely garden..
...today has been so cold with a bitter wind,so we were very lucky yesterday..:o) xx

A bright and cheerful place full of inspiration!

The garden looks superb, lovely splashes of colour even this early in the year. I envy your changes of level, steps and walls, all creating a new vista and chances to grow different things. Your Pieris is a picture, mine is in a pot and though very pretty and doing well, I think would be better in the garden. I also love Euphorbias and the one you show is on my wish list! Well done, the rest and tea on the patio is well deserved!

Certainly did enjoy my tour Carole! What a lovely and well maintained garden. Clearly loved very much. I am a bit envious of the pot your Sorbaria is growing in!

Thank you Carole..that's great..I think I might do the same as you,and put it in a pot for a while..I should have found somewhere to plant it out,by the time it's outgrown the pot..how long has your bigger Sem been in one ?
Believe it or not,but I couldn't find anything to do in the garden today..!:o( Russell is still painting the fence :o) xx

Hi Sandra I think mine is around two year half years old. Harry has been doing more work on the Conservatory Doors. I have just watered the pots on the front drive, some of them have a canopy over them so need frequent watering;0)

Speaking of watering, my outside tap is caput. Scott is out there now trying to fit a new one. I have to walk all the way down the drive carrying watering cans from the garage to the greenhouse...bleugh. Cant Get the lawn feed watered in, or the grass seed watered in. Its very frustrating....and tiring! But I did manage to get lettuces, carrots and beetroots outside today, and also some Ammi Majus that were growing through their coir pots. Hopefully I'll soon be able to water...oh, here he is...its fixed!!! BYeee! :)

20 Apr, 2015

Glad to hear Scot fixed your tap Karen, dont know how I would manage with just a watering can!

What a beautiful garden you have Carole. I can't see a single inch which isn't well tended. It's clear you really love your garden and no wonder!

Your passion shows up in every inch of your lovely garden Carole there is so much colour already and lots of interest in your shrubs and topiary.
Its great to see what an interesting patio area you have. I hope like me you can sit out and enjoy the beautiful sunshine today, I`m finishing of a herb swirl at the moment Started it earlier on in the week and am quite pleased with the results so shall blog it later on.

Carole, in the fourth pic down, bottom right. What is the clipped shrub with the lovely orangey hue please?

21 Apr, 2015

Karen It may look nice on the photo but Im afraid its a very poorly Box plant which looks like it has a rust disease, I have been spraying it but it isnt responding wil seehow it getson in the next few months but if it doesnt respond I will have to get rid of it;0(

21 Apr, 2015

Oh..what a pity. I was hoping it was a Euonymus. I have one that turns orange but no name for it. Hope it recovers.
