I just had to say the biggest THANK YOU today to Michaella.

I have what might be described as a “difficult” garden ,its very long but very narrow and slopes every way it can .
For two years now I’ve struggled to know how to take it forward .
All the plans I’d drawn just didn’t work and were prohibited by lack of money .I threw in a beech hedge either side as a backbone to be growing whilst my health was poor but year after year I just couldn’t face it and it depressed me.
I came across a post by Michaella so popped over to see her garden photos as we do :-))I spent hours last night going through each and every one. What an inspiration you are Michaella.
I doodled ideas all night and at six this morning popped out to mark areas out with the hose .It works !!
Circles and arches and little paths in between screening off little rooms. Not too much work and workable …just …on my slope but more importantly relatively cheap.I do hope you will take this as the sincerest form of flattery Michaella that I’m using your wonderful ideas and not berate me for being such a copy cat :-)) A huge thank you .
Instead of nasty trellising I’ll be blocking off the end veg area with shrubs and an arch that will look so much nicer.
Now off to plant this lot :-))

Little rooms always look good on a long narrow plot - all the best with that - exciting times!
