Late sowing - my choice to extend the veggie cropping season.

Trying to extend the growing season, clearing the broad beans and an old strawberry bed, making a new raised bed, now planting ….
Dwarf french beans, carrot autumn king, a late sowing of beetroot, turnip
golden ball, swiss chard, cabbage flower of spring, spinach giant winter.,
lettuce cut and come again and winter density, if there is still room will try some autumn sown japanese onions
Also have a new 6 x4 polytunnel to use, and a cold frame, home made,
needs poly-cover, apparently there is a new polythene that cuts out the harmful uv rays.

Does anyone have any other ideas/ suggestions?

Good grief - I thought I was being good with sowing my cabbages and sprouts ready for winter!!! Well done - what is cabbage flower of spring? and how big does it get - I'm looking for other ideas for my square foot garden - I've planted some carrots and pots and beans (will the french beans last through the frost or are yours under cover?

Hi Genuisscuffy , I live in theSouth East last year both my gardening friend and myself
planted French beans late and got a good crop.. Flower of spring are a sort of spring greens, plant close then remove alternate ones for the earliest greens and leave the others to heart up. I might try some dwarf runners too. They are not under cover.but I'm still wondering what to plant in the polytunnel.
