This is one of my myrtus shrubs in the back garden. It’s huge and it’s not the only one. They grow wild here in Greece.

It is really big Hywel. There are a few more growing around that area. Will probably keep the smallest and keep it under control. Not sure if I'm going to make it that far back into the garden this winter.

Lovely glossy leaves ... like a laurel. It's huge! Does it flower or have berrries Alex?

Yes Fluff it does flower and it has berries as well. Will have another look tomorrow and see if there are any more berries on it now. We have to wait for the flowers though.

Just been browsing some of your blogs Alex. Some Myrtle berries can be eaten.

I would be afraid to try eating them Pam...never know which ones are edible. I'll just enjoy looking at them.
Took a walk today and saw that the myrtle are in bloom....didn't have my camera with me. Maybe tomorrow.
