White Rose

I asked a question about a white rose, which i bought and didn’t flower last year. I asked if maybe it was establishing and would flower this year.
Well, I looked out of my window to see a small white rose bud on one of the new stems. I was quite excited with this.

That's lovely Alextb, do as Lincslass advises and give it a little food now and again too, maybe tomato fertiliser, give it lots to drink as well and it will do really well!

According to the David Austin book a newly planted rose always takes 2 years to get established. Its great when you see that first flower isnt it.If you can get hold of some well rotted manure ( i believe you can buy it from garden centres now ) this will bring it on. If not try chicken pellets or rose fertiliser, and manure every year. I now have over 50 roses and i love every one of them.
