The Council and my garden

Accidentally posted as Nature (Gardening Blog)
I had a call from a lady at the Council who I used to have a lot of contact with in 2009, and she called to say that the neighbourhood Manager was so pleased with what she saw on her estate walkabout, that she wants to come down on Friday at 3pm to meet me and take pictures of it and me and put in the council residents newsletter, which goes to all council residents in the borough.
I did say to my Mum that they could have done so in the Sprng or Summer, rather than when most of my plants are dying down in November.
I got the call yesterday afternoon and rushed out to see what I could find from the small range left at the garden Centre.
I will have to tidy up a bit round the greenhouse as it is a mess of odd pots and tags.
I will post the article and pictures they took on her, if you are intersted.

Isn't that nice? So good to have something positive to say and to be said about a local council. Very few people seem to have a good word for them these days. Well done you for all the hard work, it's nice getting the recognition. Looking forward to seeing the outcome.

Thank you Gattina. Me and the Neighbourhood Manager have locked horns in the past, but it appears that she can be nice. It looks like I may have actually found something nice to say about the Council as you said.
Will let you know how it goes and post the article when it is published.

Nana, in reply to your question on one of the other blogs, yes the ouncil hav ebeen round and taken the pictures.
I will just have to wait for tjhe newsletter magazine to see the pictures and I have no idea what will be written if an artyicle has been written for it.
Knowing my luck, it will be a bunch of smal pictures shoved in the corner of one of the pages.
I will post once it has been published and sent to us.
