Plants arrived today :(

My plants arrived from Crocus today and I am somewhat disappointed. As you can see from the attached image they look in a sorry state. I ordered three primula vialli and they all look like they are about to give up the ghost! The leaves are all slimey and brown – hopefully they might pick up but will have to protect them from the slugs! Have only ordered from Crocus once before and then the plants all arrived in good condition. The plants were packaged really well this time as well so no complaints there. What are your experiences with Crocus?

I have never had problems with Crocus plants.

I've ordered from Crocus numerous times and only twice been unsatisfied with the quality of the plants. Can't remember what the plants were now, but they also arrived slimy and unusually not well packaged. It didn't put me off though and I continue to receive good plants that last for years. I would contact Crocus, the customer service was very good when I contacted them.

I would be surprised it they didn't recover very quickly though.

That's very disappointing for you. I wonder if you've made a complaint to Crocus ... They should refund your money I think ... :(

Thanks everyone for your suggestions. Will email them this picture and ask for a refund. I am glad that I'm not the only one who thought the plants didn't look right. Will let you know how I get on.

Oh dear!If I were you I would send this photo to Crocus and ask for a refund
