The great northern garden build BBC 2

Worth a watch. Tonight’s first out of 4 episodes on the massive construction task of of bringing back to life the gardens RHS Bridgewater. The interesting bit is that they are not restoring them to what they used to look like in their heyday but have instead asked Tom Stuart-Smith and other young and exciting garden designers to re-invent the space. I found it interesting as it incorporates history, garden design, construction & love of plants all into one!

Thanks Ams, I too missed it but will watch on 'catch-up' as I have read a lot about this new RHS garden in their magazine.

It was really worth watching. It is amazing the amount of work that has been put into it. It’s on my wish to visit it.
