The whole garden looks grand Amy. The colors are so vibrant. We already had snow and the arctic blast we are getting tonight will finish it off. Time to fire up the furnace. :)

Thanks Sunny ,Karen,Stera I found two new baby Arums in the garden yesterday I'd forgotten buying them as plug plants in the spring I pointed them out to hubby as he's more than likely to hoe them out as weeds...
I can't make this new garden out Stera sometimes the wind is howling through from the sea other times it seems sheltered we're on a learning curve Haha ...

Lovely, Amy. Penstemons and Salvias seem to have done well this late Autumn. Like the variegated planting in your new garden.

Amy our house is level with the top of the church tower and we have a great view of the weathervane - it makes me very conscious of how the weather and temperature vary with the wind direction. Sometimes we are sheltered and sometimes almost blown away so I sympathise!

Your Penstemons are doing so well. I have always thought of them as rather bedraggled plants but yours are nothing of the sort. So strong!

Lol! I don't really have an option Amy. I'm beginning to get fed up, being so restricted. I'm just trying to tell myself once I'm fully recovered, spring will be that much nearer.

Lovely to see so many plants still flowering in your garden, Amy! Those Penstemons are looking really good!

My friend Dick, from church, gave me a plant during the summer but unfortunately it died within a few months of putting it out on the balcony! It was quite pretty with red & white flowers.

I also sowed some seeds of Penstemon that my daughter gave me. They were old seeds that she got a several years ago free with a gardening mag she bought. I didin't know if they would germinate but sowed them anyway as you never know with plants - they can sometimes surprise you! These didn't though! :(
