Thanks everyone. I had a pretty 'normal' day. I did go out and treat myself to a small bar of Green and Black's Milk Choc and a Danish Pastry. Sadly no dinner or lunch treats as everyone was working. Never mind, tomorrow we are off to Glasgow to pick a puppy! :))

Sorry Karen, happy belated birthday from me too. I dont like alot of fuss on my birthday, in fact I wouldnt mind if it wasnt acknowledged at all but that's me. Not worried about getting older, just dont like the attention it brings, lol.

I can understand that Dawn. I'm so low key about mine that even my children were unaware. Rachel lives here and she totally forgot, and Cal called me in the evening because he'd forgotten too. I totally forgot myself until Scott gave me the radio! Last year was different...turning my half century, but I much prefer to get on with my day as usual. Mind you, it would be nice not to have to cook on your birthday, if I was taken out to dinner, that would be the BEST!
