Coming along nicely now.

Hi all, As most of you probably know by now my “thing” is Fuchsia’s, each year i say that “i’m not buying anymore” but always do!!!! lol. This year i managed to overwinter lots of plants either in doors or in my home made cold frame. I actually kept 30 odd types and around 65 plants. at this point i should add, that my daughter Pam is also Fuchsia mad so we buy / beg plants etc then swap cuttings from them between us, at the moment my tally is 77 varieties (Sue says i’m mad).In such a small garden as ours space is at a premium so planters / hanging baskets / wall hangers are all utilised where ever we can squeeze them in.
Here then are a few pictures of my wall brackets, upright hangers when first planted.
This is one of the upright wall planters.

Then two half round wall planters.

Now how they are this week, coming along nicely, they are the two upright planters.

Here now is the half round Fuchsia planter, filling out
nicely

These pictures were taken last week of the garden starting to flower.

Lastly i allowed this Fuchsia to have just one flower to try to identity it as the label was lost.

Everything's coming along beautifully Bob - I'm dying to see your fuchsias when they are all out - I bet they'll be fabulous.

We love fuchsias but the winters can be too cold for them to survive (even with 'lagging'). However, your collection has inspired me to try (now we've the greenhouse) to keep them going.

Lovely Bob, all your plants are beautiful, and so much further advanced than mine in Wiltshire. My fuchsia are looking good, but only Torville & Dean is flowering as yet. The ones I had from you are doing well. thank you.

lovely Bob. I looked at those tube planters in B & Q ,are they good? previous tries of mine with similar [but soft plastic ]have never been very successful somehow.

Bob your garden is a credit to you, it may be small but you know the old saying, every thing comes best in small packages. When people walk past your house it must put a smile on their faces to see such a wonderful sight. Looking forward to seeing the fuchsia pic's
