Water butts

Maybe people already know this, but it might just come in useful.. I have just bought online two 190 litre water butts complete with stands/divertors and taps threw my local council recycle website for £66 including delivery. I think thats a bargain and wanted to spread the word.

Oh snap then whistonlass. I nearly bought 4 and the compost ones but I've had them before and hard to turn the compost.
Clarice you got a bargain there!!!! I've thought about the wheelie bin idea because I read it somewhere maybe on this site. I always likes a bargain.

Bill if you look on my page somewhere along the line i've got a photo of my wheelie bin next to my greenhouse, think you have to go back about a couple of years though.

Ok Clarice I will have a nosey in a bit. Since you mentioned a greenhouse. I'm hopefully going to buy one, will it be ok in shade for a few hours in the morning until about 1030am in the summer ?

I have done the same Bill....still waiting for them as they said it could be up to 28 days for delivery. They were on offer if you bought two so I'm having one and our daughter is taking the other one. Great deal. All the rain we've had over the last week or two I would have liked to have the rain butts in situ....oh well...patience and all that!
