As i said a week or so ago I have bent several fronds down and secured them to the ground and as a back up removed another and placed it in an unheated propagator the picture show it today,snug and happy,the fern that is not me.

They have only been in there a week its the way i take them.Seriously they do look a bit greener but not really any bigger.
Katarina yes they should all make new plants,The shoots in the middle were there before I removed it from the parent plant.
Alex no I don't I make it up as i go along, experiment.lol

Paul according to my book on ferns it is only a very small number of varieties that can reproduce in this way.

I was thinking of dividing a few and hoping to see what happens :D Try to grow a few things from seed and whatever - not much luck as yet - trying tree lupin at moment - I have a green shoot - probably end up being a piece of grass or weed lol

I was thinking about ordering fern plug plants...but last year when I ordered some plug fuchsia's they all died on me. They were so beautiful too....;o(
