Up date on one of my small water features

I know lots have seen this in previous years
It has worked surprisingly well considering the small amount of soil involved and the mix of moisture lovers and dry sun loving plants used, considering it floods when we have a lot of rain I can only think the course grit below the soil makes for very free draining.
The cloud reflection in the water was a bonus did not see it when the picture was taken.
Close up of Geranium Dalmaticum & Edraianthus oweriniaus

Good that you have photographed the Geranium and named it, I had forgotten what mine was called....dalmaticum.

That's great Brian....I may even get round to doing something similar myself, one day.Do you have frogs visit?

That is lovely, just goes to show you don't need a mansion and acres to create something beautiful - small is lovely and makes you look and appreciate the details. The geranium is delighful.

Thanks for your comments.
Paul there is only about 1.1/2 inches between the inner and outer containers that form it, the inner is a small barrel cut down just luck I found another blue one.
There is a resident frog in another bit larger one farther down the garden that has sedge grasses to the back of it which gives good cover.
Honeysuckle don't have a mansion would not have time for the garden if I did, actually my garden is my mansion ))
Siris there will be a small charge for charity for naming that one !

So pretty. I haven't seen this before and think it's a great idea. Is the blue container a bath, or pond liner?

Thanks, Brian! Enjoying your lovely small pond. It looks great! Geranium Dalmaticum is my favourite here.

A brilliant idea to have the succulents/ plants bordering the bowl Brian very pretty ,the view of the clouds adds an extra something it reminded me of the mirrors placed in Cathedrals making it easier for you to view the ceilings ...
