Wow! Transformation, Boo! Looks fabulous now, and it will get better and better!
Were you a bit scared at the end of that first day...
...and what happened to that rather nice bird-bath?? :))

12 Jun, 2012

No I wasn't scared Karen I had total faith, erm the bird bath fell over and broke, it was only made of resin lol, I'm still looking out for something else to go there. :-)

Aw, never mind, it looks just fine while you're looking...a big, statement pot, perhaps? :)
No wonder you got them back in again....can't wait for the back garden "reveal"!

hmmm... big, statement pots can be expensive.

12 Jun, 2012

I know...and sometimes they break in the winter...! :/
I've got a resin pot which looks for all the world like carved stone...I got it at the French equivalent of a car-boot sale!

Nice transformation.

Ahh ! well done you! Some of my best 'finds' have been from car boot sales :)

Thanks Lil :)

Very nice indeed. It's lovely. I like the circular bricks very much :o)

You must be pleased with the result, it looks grand, shame about the birdbath but no doubt you`ll find something equally as nice. I know the weather is being a bit of a beggar but apart from the gales doing their best to destroy all our fences our gardens are loving the rain and are literally romping away, although it breaks your heart to see the flooding of all those homes..
I`ve enjoyed reading your blogs Boo and look forward to following your progress in the back garden...

Thanks Magna and Hywel :)

Lincs thankyou also, I agree, terrible shame, I feel so sorry for all those people.
I'm glad you've enjoyed my blogs, I've finally got the hang of it lol!

What a great job they have done. It's all maturing well. Like your stone circle and the display you have.
Looking forward to seeing the rest when they have finished :)

Thank you Scottish :)

I love that! That's my kind of front garden...beautifully designed and executed, gorgeous plants, easy maintenance and lots of kerb appeal! :D

13 Jun, 2012

Thanks Karen, it just needs to fill out a bit and I need to add more pots here and there but been concentrating getting plants for the back garden :)

13 Jun, 2012

I bet! It will soon fill out Booboo, and once you get something new to replace the birdbath, you'll have those plants in the centre to reposition perhaps....love it anyway!

Btw, b'smum...are you near a TKMax, because they have some really nice birdbaths in there sometimes, just one offs and I nearly bought another one last week from there, it was cute! I already have a grey one that I got there last year.

13 Jun, 2012

Re- TKmax yea we do have one near us, i'll have to pop over and have a look :)

What I a transformation its turned out beautiful and now looking as its been like that for sometime.

Great choice plum we have plum crushed slate at front when he had ours landscaped.

And sometimes when you are not looking of things eg bird bath you come across the very thing you want or would like for the garden .

Hope you find one.

Thanks! I love the plum, might have it in the back Scot

Wow, such a difference to before. I love the centre block paving, makes a real feature piece to make the neighbours jealous. We were thinking of bordering our garden with these www.avsfencing.co.uk/retail/products-by-use/fencing/garden-fencing/picket-fencing/picket-fence-panel/

But considering how good the brick looks with the foliage, may lean more towards a bricked border. Have you got a mix of Plum and Green slate in there? (I cant quite tell).

Thanks Bob! Its plum slate :)
