Update on garden make-over

No blog yesterday as nothing much happened apart from the old patio close to the house was removed.
Alby and I went to an aquatic shop to choose a pond liner and fountain pump, I nearly died at the cost of the liner, £1,500 !!! and the pump was £49.99. I said lets try somewhere else so off we went to another place
When we got there we found that they were closing down and eveything was 1/2 price! except liners cos they had to order it and it wasnt much cheaper than the other place.
So I suggested a pre-formed pond and we found the right sized one and it worked out to about £120 !
We found they had the same fountain as well also 1/2 price! So I was very happy.
Going back tomorrow to get stones, rocks, pots and aquatic plants.
Some pics coming up….
The decking was started today…

Exciting watching it take shape - glad I'm not there putting up with all the work though, lol.Are you having to keep the dogs in till the deck goes down?

Very exciting Bamboo, they could go out yesterday but not today as they were putting the top part of the decking on. The girls can hold it in till walkies time but I let Barneyboo out the front

Hmm, I could make a sexist remark now about how much more efficient females are generally than males, bladders included, but I'm pretty sure it wouldn't be entirely true, lol

BBM: I think we were commiserating with each other about the hosepipe ban still being in place for both of us (at least i think it was you) - note that all restrictions have now been lifted. Which means you can use your hosepipe as much as you like to get the mud off things. You certainly won't be needing it for much else...
