Starting Bonsai Questions?

So I want to contribute where I can , so I’m wondering if anyone has any questions about starting with bonsai . Ill answer to the best of my ability and hopefully I can start a new wave of bonsai enthusiasts .
It’s something I love and hope to be able to share that with people .
I’ll end with saying this, it really is not much work , I think the hardest part is the waiting and having the patience for the plants to grow and be able to set out on creating your vision .

Honest answer .... id have no idea how to , I tried to start a blog on the bonsai page but i could not get things rite ... besides that , I can't touch anything at the moment , the only trees I had was used for a beginner class on clipping branches before spring too ensure two more branches grows out , I kept them in a fridge just to keep then sleeping a little longer .
Everything else on the other hand is giving tiny buds and missed my window and must wait now until everything is growing nice and wild. So hopefully there will be people busy researching at the moment for the pending season and hopefully there will be some questions about root cleaning and clipping .

Agree with Drc though - and when you do write a blog more people will see it here on the general blog page than would on the bonsai page, where many of us might never think of checking.

I'm just sitting thinking , steragram and Drc , I'm going to do this for you guys so I hope you have some bonsai or that you going to go out and get a few plants to start your clipping lol .
I really don't have anything at the moment , or maybe tomorrow I'll take a chance with the locust tree , I clipped on the stem already but if I had known I would be doing this i would have demonstrated how far back plant must be cut back sometimes for bonsai to get the proper look with raw material

I'd be interested in a blog. I have some little trees that I want to make into bonsai. I've got a book on it but it's long winded.

I would like to see and know about your bonsai hobby. How do you choose a plant for bonsai? proper care? technique? common mistakes? etc. Creating a blog is ridiculously easy once you have the content. You can cut & paste the text, insert a few style tags, add some photos, then publish. You can also go back and edit the blog.

Great , started root training on Saturday with the locusts tree , so cut that back quite significantly and was quite happy to do that after I saw how the roots was pushing out fresh white roots . Don't have Wi-Fi at the moment , will have it back after the move so just waiting for data and I'll post what I did .

Hello why dont you do a blog on Bonsai explaining what can be used and how to do it with some photos as you go along. I think this will be of interest to some members and generate questions that way.
