I'm Still Here

Just a quick blog to say that Moon grower and myself are still here despite not having been very active recently.
For the first couple of weeks in June we were in the mountains in Austria and since we came home the weather has been so hot and sunny that I have only used the computer for short spells – just enough to check my e-mails, check on Andy Murray and have an occaisional lurk on GoY. It is my intention to post a couple of blogs of our flower trip to Austria but the weather has been such that we haven’t even looked at the pictures ourselves yet!
Has it been hot in the north of Scotland? For the last two weeks daytime temperature has been up to 28C and only dropping to 16C at night (currently 26C at 11am). Along with our short nights and the sun coming in through the curtains at about 5am it means that we are both short on sleep and feeling very lethargic. The fine weather is due to finish tomorrow as it does every year because the school holidays start then. I feel sorry for the kids but am lookingto some decent rain.
We have lots of young plants and seedlings needing attention but dare not disturb them in this weather. However we are getting on with on with unpotting bulbs and potting them back up again, a job that needs doing.
I expect to be active again soon and will put up some pictures.
As a final thought. I wonder why Tim Henman is ‘English’ and Andy Murray is ‘British’?

When Tim Henman played he represented the United kingdom. We like Andy, however he says he plays for Scotland. May be thats the answer!
