Last year, we went to Swansea for a 5-night B&B, we stayed at Reynoldstone, Gower, just outside the village. Walking to the bottom of the very narrow lane we discovered a bank of wild strawberries they tasted of the strawberries I used to eat years ago. Todays seem to be forced so much, all flavour has been lost.
I shall be trying one or two later today ;-)

We have them growing on the lane banks...They taste great but, as they're so small, it takes ages to pick enough to get even a tiny punnet.
The flowers look nice though.
