Well the weather wasn’t great again today so off we went again Sarnies and flask in the car.
We didn’t go far about 9 miles from home to a little hamlet called Cockington, nr Torquay.
The forge,its still in use today.
This lovely cafe, with lovely cream teas,yummy
If you look closely in the shop window on the left there is a little dog lying there.
Yes he is alive he moved his eyes :)
This is the old School House
The walled garden, where they used to grow veg and fruit for the big house, its a Rose garden now.
Then we went to see the beautiful church but that is yet another blog

That's very pretty, I love the walled garden and the cafe looks very good.
Do they still have horses and carts that take you on little trips round cockington?

Thanks for this,Cmsue..we always go there when staying in Babbacombe...We catch the bus up,and walk back into Torquay,by the river...such a lovely place :o)

Oh ! I've been there. I loved it. It's very pretty. We went on a horse drawn cart up to a big house, and walked all around the village. I've put this on my favs so that I can go back to it :o)

Stickie, Yes they still have the horse and cart to take you up the long drive to the big house:)

Bloomer, Yes it is a lovely place one of our favorits, now they have put a car park at the top behind the big house we are able to get to it easy:)
