Yesterday we went out to buy some bags of wood for our open fire and came upon these scenes, Icicles all along the road side.

Then of course Bob was conned into taking me back Dartmoor way, he he

If you look ever so closely, there is, we think a Pipit looking for food in the snow.

Before leaving Dartmoor we went to our Bird tables and left a double lot of Seeds and Nuts.

Hallo cmsue...it seems that snow has hit most of the UK...my brother in Lincoln is snowed in at the moment...no snow here at the moment...just very very low temps...down the garden this morning at 9.30 it was minus 15 C with bright sun.

We,re still white over but a few passes by the snowplough has cleares a line down the middle of the road and the sun is out after the freezing fog has gone... roll on spring I say!

I remember freezing fog living in Yorkshire. I drove straight over a T junction into a frozen field...wiped out my radiator. Just managed to limp home before the engine light glowed red!

I enjoyed your pics too,Sue..We had a lovely clear blue sky yesterday too,and sunshine all day..no snow to speak of till evening..and most of it gone today :o) I would like to think that is all we are getting,however pretty it is .! LOl.
