Yes it is that time of year again, So off we went up the moors to our favourit spot to see if the bird tables Bob made last year were still there and yes they were there.

And there he is our little friend he is the only Blackbird i know that eats of a bird table

Then he was joined by his mate’s

AH !! I’m watching you eat my seeds hehe

Great blog Sue with smashing photo`s, I`m pleased your birdtables are still there and I can see all the birds are very appreciative.. My blackbirds always visit the birdtables especially the covered one near the pond....

That stream looks so beautiful, such pretty areas you visit, the bird photos are lovely, especially the blue tits tucking into the fat balls.

Lovely blog, Sue ... the birds will appreciate the food you put out for them in the cold weather ... I read on the RSPB site that the fat balls should be removed from that green netting as the birds have been known to trap themselves in them ... ouch! ... How unusual to see the Blackbird feeding from the table ... never happens here! ... :o)

My husband Barry has just said we had a female Blackbird on our bird table today. Still it is unusual.

I sure those birds are so greatful to Bob lovely how you ve captured all the birds and lovely colours are nt they the blue especially.

I love the rugged and colour of the moors and that stream would love to live next to that, or would I with all the floods we are having. :o))

Yes the river dart is a very fast river, they do an awful lot of canoeing on that river
