After a three hours job was done, as I was tidying up number 1 son arrived home from work took one look at me and burst out laughing, this to be honest is not uncommon, strange lad that one.
As I wanted to put some trellis up on the top fence before the threatened rain came I cracked straight on to get the job done.
All went well untill the last bit, it started to rain so I rushed a bit to get it finished, you guessed it, whacked my thumb with the hammer. After doing my impression of a red indian war dance round the garded decided to call it a day and have a nice shower.
When I looked in the bathroom mirror I could see why my son was laughing. my face was covered in freckles, or should I say splashes of wood stain.
Oh well at least I don’t have to cook dinner tonight.
