Awakening Woodland

The Woodland is right in front of our house and there is a pathway through each end, but not the middle. There is a long route called The White Hart Way that goes around Shaftesbury, local villages and on to Blandford. And this woodland forms part of the route, but the centre is off limits and you’d have to go on pavements for that part. Anyway, it’s coming to life at last! Not much life in the canopy yet, but the lower storey is bursting into bloom.
This is a great time of year to be in the woods!

Nothing refreshes the spirit (for me) as trees. I envy you the proximity to woodland. And I'm sure watching the unfurling of the woodland floor is a treat for the eyes, Karen. Maybe makes up a little for not quite having your own growing space as yet.
