First Sun Then Rain

I started weeding the front garden on Sunday, because of the rain I did not get back to it until today. I have not quite finished it started raining again.

The herbaceous border in the back is doing quite well, we got a second water barrel fitted today. The council put guttering and a down pipe on the coal house, our odd job man has fitted it today, so maybe we will not get the flooding in the coal shed when it rains.

The Comtesse de Bouchard clematis at the top of the garden, full of flower, it has quite a way to go to get to the top of the trellis

The lavatera flowering, we have one in the front but it shows no signs of blooming yet.

OH strimmed the grass this morning, he was hoping to get part of it mowed, but the rain beat him to it, it will have to wait a couple of days now. Might get it done on Friday. I hope to finish weeding the front garden then.

We have had several pickings from the strawberries, and there is rhubard that will need picking tomorrow.
