Weeds again

This morning I have weeded one side of the front garden again. The weeds have gone mad since it rained. I still have 3 sides to do. At least one side of the garden looks ok. OH mowed the grass. The back lawn will have to be strimmed before we can put the mower on it and then I will have to weed the herbaceous border.
The vegetables appear to have enjoyed the rain, the beans are up to the top of the wigwam and the sweet peas on the arch needed tying in again. Not sure whats wrong with the poppy, its gone yellow……. it was growing fine before the heavy rain last week.

The weeds grow whatever the weather lol. It's a job to keep up with them isn't it :D

You only have to turn round and they are back again. I think there is a weed fairy who comes in the night...

There's a thought Stera - some malignant fairy gleefully dancing round the garden at night magicically planting weeds! But it could explain how they grow so quickly!!

yes the weeds are at it in my garden too. One of my borders is rife with couch grass. I am waiting for retirement [September !] to tackle it all.
Gardening is like painting the forth bridge isn't it.
