Springs gift

Today I’ve woken to find a lump of frogspawn on top of my oxygenating plant (elodea) and also with the slight temperature increase we also have green water! Not to worry hopefully as the filter and UV will be running the waterfall again and there are now waterlily leaves just under the surface of the water

WOW, you have a good start on the year. It will be another few months before I see my male greenfrogs go into Greco Roman wrestling matches over my ponds.

Haha! It always comes this time of year but usually it sinks to the bottom and the fish eat it! This time it's been layed on top of a pot of elodea out of the fishes reach!
