For members new to gardening.
Had the oven on to cook a supermarket pie, and a tray of small cakes.
Nipped out and trimmed the fresh growth on my Parsley and Thyme – my Herb bed is on best compost in an old baby bath.
Cut off thick stems. Seperated florets.
When items in oven were cooked, reduced the heat to lowest number.
Placed Herbs in seperate saucepans, covered with boiling water for 2 mins.
Drained. Spread on seperate trays. Placed in oven for
half an hour.
Removed when Herbs were crisp.
When cold placed in small screw topped jars.
