My Budgies have hatched out 2 new babys. They are normally in the avairy but as the weather is so bad they are now indoors and doing very well. I thought you might like to see some photos of them
As you can see I have them in a very large cage so they can bring up the babys and move around.
This is mum and Dad and this is the new ones

Gosh! Well done indeed. I'm glad to hear that you have room for them indoors - I don't suppose they'd survive out there, would they?

Great to have the budgies hand tame from a young age.
Very useful if you need to give medication or treatment.
Have you bred budgerigar babies at this time of year before ?
You are doing very well with these :o)

Not sure of the sex yet A bit to young They will be kept indoors untill this weather passes. Spritz they would survive out side but I dont think its fair on them. tt this is my first baby budgies and I am so pleased as they are healthy and happy

How wonderful Donnah! That you can handle them so young is great, you are right...they will be so tame. How lovely. I used to enjoy watching parent birds rearing their young and how those youngsters developed, when I had an aviary. PLEASE, keep us updated!
