where did the last 2 weeks go?

Feeling a bit bewildered at the moment. Had an hectic 2 weeks with the hubby being in a car crash and me getting a new job. Oh but my poor garden has not even got a look in. My hawthorne tree is now in flower and my aquiligias are in flower too. But the weeds have slighty took over whilst my back was turned. The plan is weather permitting is to get out this weekend and give the garden a good tidy up and weeding.
The other downside of the hubby being of work is the fact that this last 2 weeks he’s been wandering round my garden making comments and “suggestions”. Not that I don’t mind his interest but the garden is my escape and I would appreciate him not changing things around while I’m out shopping! I’ve even caught him drawing out plans to change the bedding and seating area. I can’t wait for him to go back to work next week and leave me and my garden be.
I have decided to build a pond in the corner now that the rabbit hutch has gone but that is going to have to wait untill later in the year when the finances will allow such a venture.
happy planting!

Hope things look up for you now. I know how you feel the gardening is my domain. I dug my pond myself 12 years ago - so suggest he does it he will soon be too busy at work.

You had me in a fit of giggles, when you mentioned that Hubby was drawing
plans to change your haven...he probably did not even notice it much, before
now, he has got to do something with himself, having so much time on
his hands.....so watch out Dt once he has finished with those plans!!! LOL

i thought it was only my OH that bothered me in the garden, now it seems they are all the same. i dread it when he says" i'll do some weeding" you can guess what happens.!!!

My sons leave me and my garden well alone they know it is just mine, but slight ill health means that sometimes I have to admit defeat and ask for help.

I'm glad I live on my own. I can do as I please and there's no one to bother me. My garden is all MINE and it's much better that way lol :o)
