It's a Jungle Out There.

I do not know if the rest of u feel that your gardens are in a frenzy, but mine is reaching a point of utter wildness & abandonment. I guess if I stop feeding it, Miracle Grow it will take a breather, it is like it is in a race, and I am running as fast as I can to keep up.LOL!!! guess that is why I have to cycle all Winter to keep up with my garden.
This lovely Foxglove reached about 3meters or more, and I finally had to pull it out this week as if it spilled its seeds it would have been disaster. The Hummingbirds love all of the foxgloves that grow in our garden.
A gorgeous Moroccan Broom that was so loaded with blooms & a clematis that I feared for it in the wind, it survived all the windstorms that came its way. I have tried to take cuttings with NO success & wonder if somewhere out there some person can give me a few tips to propagate this beauty.
The Dogwood I transplanted this Spring became a beautiful specimen. For 3 years it sat doing zip, then finally I put it in big pot & wallah!!it thrived
my old Gallica rose has traveled with me from home to home. This year it reached a new height in gorgeousness, if there is such a word. rich in colour & scent.
These two lovelyrose: Hansa & Dortmunt are running wild this year. The Dortmunt has at least 12-15 roses in a cluster & so nice in a vase with Lady’s Mantle.
As U can C it is a jungle out there & I am going golfing, before they grab me 4 anything else to do. How we adore our lovely works of art we create in our gardens.

What a beautiful 'jungle' you have Doon and such lovely photos of it. Your plants are certainly lapping up that Miracle Grow, maybe they need to go on a diet! As you say, our gardens certainly have us hooked!

Thanks 4 the wonderful comments, yes it is a neat time of the year, even though I have put in an automatic watering system, these days I have to hand water as well, but that is OK as i then can follow their progress closer at hand.Have a great Summer.
