Wandering around the garden this Summer I decided to take some very, very close “shots” of my flowers, and would like to share these with you.
These beautiful Casa Blanca lilies grow next to the deck & the sea breezes waft their gentle aromas around us as we sit outside & drink in their beauty.
These Oriental beauties get cut & brought in the house for show.
This photo is going to be blown up & framed, it is at the moment my screen saver. A “Beaut”.
These little darlings are going to be all over my garden next year. I have totally fallen for them. I saved seeds will grow them again.
Although not my favourite plant, Sedum??) but who can resist, they are soooo easy to propagate.
Lovely Cosmos, NOT in South Africa though, where they are a total weed. Fabulous to see them where they have taken over a farmers field.
This lovely Sun Flower never stopped producing flowers, from July now being October & I still bring in small bouquets. Got the seed in Arizona.
Zinnias are another plant that I grew for the first time this year. I love the hot Orange colour. This was a winner.
Dr. Rupple I think??Help. Still blooming here in October, yahoo!!!
Old fashioned Dahlia, with its shocking colours.
Old fashioned Glad, it is a lovely cut flower
So there, I am out of space & listening to the fabulous rain falling on the roof. My garden is sighing & so verrrrry happy. Enjoy the Fall clean up.

I would frame them all they are wonderful, especially the old fashioned gladioli and the first sun flower, you could make a business out of them selling them as framed pictures.

Thank you alll 4 the lovely comments, yes I must say I was very pleased. I am surprized at the Gladiola ? (spelling?) took the best "liked" prize, but she was a beaut. Also such a great cut flower.
It finally has rained here Sanbaz after the longest, hottest Summer ever. I am so happy and now I can start re arranging my garden.

They are really fabulous closeups, Doon! :-) How do you manage to get such clear photos? When I used to use my digicam for taking closeups, even on the macro setting, they never looked clear, for taking closeups :-(
I now use my mobile phone camera for most of my photos. I find it takes much better photos than my camera, + I don't have to remember to buy batteries for it or to pick it up when I go out!

Thank you Healerwitch & Spritz, They have been destroyed in this last deluge we had, but very welcome. Some of the shots were taken through out the year & not just recently.
Balcony my camera is just a digital Olympus C750 ultra Zoom. 4 mega pixels, so really quite an old one at least 4 yrs. But it does take nice shots for sure. Thanks for the compliment.
