Rained off

Hi every one, I have been bannished fron the garden today as it is RAININGhee in west wales,The first real rain for weeks.
I have been busy trying to get some order to the borders over the past week, The grass is long and invading the borders, We have had heavy dew’s every morning exept one when we had a frost. The grass don’t seem to dry out here at this altitude eirly enough to mow the whole garden, and Billy won’t do bits so it has been left for 3 weeks now.
Yesterday Mon 19 Sept, I tackled the front garden, first I cut the edges of the laen with shears weeded and dragged out alot of dead stuff, THEN!!! I got out the mower and mowed the front lawn myself, “What a difference”, Hey it looks like My garden now.
I then took out the plants from the Manglegrinder by the front door and replenished the compost then planted bulbs and Cyclemen, Mmm I dont like thistime of year as far as seeing all my plants going from the front, it makes my house look bare.
I have taken some cuttings from some of the Petunia’s as there was a lot of new growt on them, "Wee’l see if they root and if I can save them for rnext year.
I have alo been tidying the grass edges arround some of the borders on the main lawns and weeding, So a lot of time spent on my knees.

LOL. I get wet knees at this time of year, Doreen!

I have to agree about the 'my garden' bit - when the grass is cut, that's EXACTLY what I say!

Oh, and it's pouring here....no gardening today!

No Spritz sorry I was asking Doreen as she said she has had her spleen out, as I knew a little boy years ago, kept changing colour even his hair, it was through drinking too much coke a cola and it had rotten his speen, so they had to take his spleen out after going through a lot of bood transfusions.

Ha Ha , There's not much left of me, it's eithemissing or replaced. But I am still alive and kicking.
Louise they can't seem to get things rig in the G.N I had to laugh the way they seem to twist my news about.
Yes I hav taken advantage ofall the dry weather, but I still have the dreaded overgrown borders to dig out, I am hoping i would go away, as I usualy dig from my knees a it plays up my hip, and if my Surgan got wind of what I actuall do he would go mad, It has been 5 yrs now since my replacement. The other oneis playing up now.
