Wonderful new begining

I have no especial New Year resolutions , but this time of year is full of expectation , anticipation , and not a little optimism .
I do hope that my dear " friends " on GoY can feel some of this , and I wish you all a very happy New Year .

I never make any resolutions either, but I always look forward to the spring. I hope we get better weather than last year :o)

Its January 1st 2013 and I have sowed some Brussel Sprout seed in the top part of a polystyrene box under a shelter on my allotment. Years ago one Cyril did this on the Burton Latimer field, always had plenty of Brassica plants ready to plant out in April. He said they were a bit slow but always germinated, and grew well.

Happy new year Driad, I made a new year resolution 20 years ago, and that was to not make new year resolutions, and i've stuck to that ever since, I just take every day as it comes, my grandmother, who was Scottish, used to say, what,s for ye, 'll nae go bye ye, which is very true, Derek.
