Does anyone remember that about a year ago we had a new patio laid . It was pink !
Well since then the rest of the garden path has also be “done”, and we are really pleased with it .
A friend who hadn’t seen it before said “Oh , it’s terracotta” Well it sounds better than pink anyway .
What I’m getting round to is , DavidS , earlier in the summer(?)brought me two plants , saying that they would match the patio . Well one is now in bloom , and it is so pretty !
There was a lovely , delicate perfume wafting about that I couldn’t place , so hunting around the area I found it , it was the plant !
So thanks again David .

I like your terracotta paving. Our yellow ones have faded to lemon.

Thank you , ladies .

It is a good colour combination , Linda , I hadn't looked at it like that .
The pale lemon is good I should think , Dawn . You probably have to keep the large birds off , if pos , like we do ...... because !

Hello Julia, We had a message from Michaella about this blog; I'm glad it is doing well for you. For those interested in this plant; it is Crassula Falcata, and is easy to grow and propagate, and can be found at nurseries who stock Cacti and succulents.
I posted a blog on C. Falcata this time last year.

Correction folks; It wasn't blog, just picture; it's still there. It flowering well this year on the patio; I shall take a pic tomorrow, if it stops raining!

I'm making green tomato; chutney (Delia recipe) it is almost finished and ready to be bottled. Last week I made-up a batch of damson chutney, and yesterday pickled French beans from my huge crop of Cobra climbing Fr. beans
