This morning OH called and said that there were large birds on next door’s roof .
This pm they were on the end wall , and tonight above the greenhouse , I think that they are looking to nest ; they are very tame .
One cock and two hens .

Beautiful though they are,you might wish they'do chosen somewhere else to nest. They are incredibly noise especially when mating or guarding their nest.

Apparently there is a white peahen on the rampage , according to my neighbour several gardens away ; but she is closer to the source (sauce) than I am !

Neighbours across the heath had peacocks. I loved to hear them in the evening but others complained about the noise! I think the peacocks died of old age; they had had a good life.

I would say, point them in the direction of Norfolk as we have four boys, no girls, but...another boy to fight with ours might not be a good idea! He's a lucky lad, having two girls to himself. They might nest, but are apparently in danger from foxes and the closer the eggs get to hatching the more the fox can sniff them out, they will take the bird first and then come back for the eggs.
