Although it did eventually get bright this afternoon , this wind , that we have had for a couple of days , is really cold . It just makes you want to scamper indoors .
Our little trip to Portugal was lovely , but we seem to have caught some sort of bug , not quite a cold ,not quite ’flu , but quite tiring .
Enough of a moan , a picture for Hywel .

!This is called the Wedding Veil broom .http://media.growsonyou.com/photos/blog_photo/image/165816/main/Portugal_023.jpg!

Oh dear, Driad, all the way to Portugal to pick up a bug. You've more than likely caught it on the plane. Still, glad you had a good holiday. We've not long since come back from Albufeira, and had a lovely time, where were you?

Thank you all , especially for your good wishes .
It is an amazing cactus Pp ; I must have missed your pics Klahanie .
So it's an Algave .
The wind has dropped today , but the sun didn't make it out until noon , thereby missing the eclipse , but I would think that you had a good viewing , Pam . Still , did see it on the box with that nice Brian Cox and co .
Thrupenny , what is that smog ?
Don't over-do the gardening , Bloomer , it is lovely to "get out there " though .
We went to Tavira , Waddy . The weather was clear and bright .

Portugal is nice at this time of year - hope you had a great time and get over the bug soon. I thought your Agave was an Echium with the droops!
We've had lovely weather today and got a lot of brambles burned- OH came over all heroic and cut them down in order to be able to plain the fence.

Well it was warm inland , 11C , so we headed for a walk by the ocean , and it was a bitter 7C -- the wind blowing a gale but it looked wonderful , so that was a bit short lived .
A very cold wind again today , but Rugby saved the day for OH . Not a good outcome for the Welsh though , but a good match apparently !

That's a fantastic flower ! Thanks for showing it.
I'd love to see one in real life.
It's a pity the 2nd photo hasn't come out. It seems you've put words in the middle of the code for it.

I hope the bug has cleared now, and that you feel better :o)
