Poem for a novice gardener

Here is a silly ditty – hope you like!!!

I am a novice gardener
I take what help I can
With care and love and God above
I am committed to my plan

New shoots are pushing skyward
The seeds are sprouting well
My efforts may not be in vain
In an Eden I will dwell

Oh what is the heck is happening?
It all is going wrong!
There is a grub, a wilt and blotch
And the weeds are growing strong

Dear God above please help me!
My Eden is kaput
The suns’ too strong, the weeds grow on
Something is afoot.

So I wizzed onto the world wide web
And Googled all my greens
I Wiki’ed round the flowers
And Surfed about the beans.

I picked up hints and tips
From every corner of the land.
I made new friends in chat rooms
Amongst a happy gardening band.

My garden is now growing fine
With not too many glitches
I say my prayers to him above
And proudly ‘Post’ my pictures

Technology with love and prayers,
The two go hand in hand,
For God in the garden,
And advice is on Broadband.
