Oh great – after all the manic watering over the past week or so we woke to grey skies – by breakfast time the streetlighting had come back on, and by leaving for school time I had to bring the car right to the front door so the girls didnt drown – The thunder and lightning was immense and spectacular – as was the huge water flow down the road and into the house – OOPS.
well at least I wont have to water the raised beds and pots this evening – lets get the dettol out again.
The great british summer is upon us, and it always floods on a friday.

Not good!!!....hope it goes down soon...We have rain in Northumberland....first "proper" rain for weeks.

Oh my goodness........hope the water doesn't take too long in going down, and that it hasn't done too much damage. You poor thing.

OMG its awful to see peoples houses looking more like a swimming pool than a home so I to hope you get it sorted out before to long

OMG, am so sorry to see this! And, you still manage to sound light-hearted? Hope that the damage is not too severe, and you return to normal soon. Must ask - is this why you chose your username?

Oh dear! I am sorry to hear it has flooded at yours. It is raining here too, but not as heavy, it is constant though.
