Artificial Grass

We have a concreted section between our garage and the back lawn. Our oil tank is at the back and I believe I asked for ideas for camouflaging this in a previous post.
Last year I placed a bench against the garage wall and scattered pots of plants around. Quite a few people commented that it “looked nice!”
Now I have come up with the idea of covering this concreted section with artificial grass. I think it would make the whole section look better.
I know everyone isn’t for artificiality in a garden but the only alternative is to leave the place as it is and I don’t really wan that.
Does anyone here have experience of using, and laying artificial grass, please? Can you recommend the sort you used? Are there pros and cons?
I really would welcome comments.
