This is a nice spot on a sunny day. At the moment the laurels in the nearby hedge are taking over so they are coming down very soon. That means more light, but, hopefully, no visits from a heron!
The artificial grass has certainly brightened up the place.

I don't like big trees near a garden, nor things that make lots of shade. That was one of the reasons I moved here from my previous place.

Wow that is a smashing pond ,must be lovely sitting near there listening to the water, I see that you have lots of Iris as well, mine have outgrown their welcome as they are taking over, hoping my grandson will help to remove them when he is back from his holidays, he'll be broke so a bit of bribery will be an incentive, lol....
