As the old saying goes, “Careful what you wish for; you might get it”. We were desperate for rain. Nothing, except one thunderstorm, since Feb. Now for the last four days it’s been afternoon/evening storms and loads of rain.
Temperatures have dropped from the high 80s to high 60s.
It’s been greenhouse work and weeding at the moment (the weeding is so much easier after rain). The meadow is knee high in grass and, as according to the forecast it’s sun into June, so my work will be all outside.
BTW….This morning the Growsonyou site has been the slowest ever…it’s driving me mad!

Plenty of rain in Wales aswell over the last few days. I like it in the winter because it's always milder when it rains , but this time of year I do like some warm sunshine
Maybe we should all complain about the slow site. If I did so on my own they wouldn't believe me.

I have written a blog about the slow site last week. At times I have to give up using the site altogether. But surely they know this Hywel?

Gosh, that must have helped so much! Rain every night...gardeners delight! Our forecast for the last four weeks has been, sun, sun, sun, rain on Thursday...Only once has it happened!
