I'm on the Loose !

Yippee – took My hubby (Dave) and his Dad to Murcia airport today. They are off to the UK for two weeks to stay in Wallington (Surrey) with Dave’s brother.
Me ? First stop Garden Centre tomorrow, I need to do a bit of tidying up in the Garden before my friend Jenny arrives next Tuesday! She’s not a gardening enthusiast but we can’t all be the same I suppose.
It nearly rained yesterday! But just as we brought in the garden furniture on the top terrace it stopped – didn’t even wet the tiles.
Last week we had a ‘wild’ fire quite close to us, everything is tinder dry and all it takes is a discarded bottle! The only green areas around here are the golf courses.
I gave up even trying for grass here, the only stuff that grows is the ‘springy’ tropical grass.
Tonight, I have a long Baileys next to me and Freddy is fast asleep on the sofa. Not a bad way to round off the day.
More later – possibly much later :-)
Chris

I don't drink a lot .... I spill most of it (hic) hehehe
It must be a bit scary being so dry and the wildfires too?

We're also looking for that Spanish drop of rain, Fenclare. The grass in the meadow crunches as we walk on it! A long Baileys sounds a lovely way to wait out the rest of the harvest as there's not a lot to do at the mo, apart from set up the hose to water the garden. Enjoy!
